The simplest description of a webform is a form on your web site that captures data. The benefit of using Zoho webforms is that when the data is captured it is automatically transfered to the correct tool. Webforms can also trigger automation and automatic emails.

Within the Zoho eco system there are a number of ways of building webforms. Some of them are application specific, and some are a generic way to build a webform that integrates to a specific tool. As an example, you can build a webform in Zoho Desk for support tickets or if you need increased functionallity you can build a form in Zoho Forms that then integrates with Zoho Desk. Within Zoho CRM you have the option to create Webforms that automatically populate Zoho CRM with the captured data. Subsequently you can set the Zoho CRM Webform to automatically assign the enquiry to a specific employee in your business, send an automated email to the enquiry, trigger further automation, have the enquiry aprroved or rejected, etc.
